Another round of heavy downpours hit the Bronx Tuesday and the rain is expected to continue.
The Cross Bronx Expressway has reopened both ways at Jerome Avenue after flooding, but traffic was backed up for hours as the Department of Environmental Protection and police dealt with a massive lake under the Jerome Avenue underpass.
Trees went down around the borough, including some along Moshulu Parkway. Some local shops in the area flooded as well.
The weather is expected to calm down after Wednesday and stay dry until Sunday.
