New Jersey is expected to experience multiple days of temperatures at or above 90 degrees, with the potential for the fourth heat wave of the summer.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says he is also tracking some storms that will bring “beneficial” rain to New Jersey Thursday evening.
WHAT’S NEXT: Isolated thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon. Not expected to be severe.
OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy with temperatures dipping to the low-70s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs rising to the low-90s. Clear skies overnight, with temperatures dipping to the low-70s.
THURSDAY: Starts off mostly clear, with hazy skies. Daytime highs rise to the upper-90s. Severe thunderstorms could potentially develop by Thursday night and last into Friday morning. Overnight lows around 72.
FRIDAY: More thunderstorms into the morning and afternoon. Daytime highs around 96 degrees. Overnight lows near 75.
WEEKEND: On-and-off rain showers likely to stick around through the weekend. Cloudy weather is expected, with some hints of sunshine between the showers.
