The moment that Wall Township High School crowned its homecoming king is going viral.
Warren Wright IV is a senior at the school and was crowned homecoming king. Wright was diagnosed with autism when he was a child.
His fellow seniors nominated him to be king.
The crowning took place last Friday during halftime at the school’s football game.
Wright’s mother Kristyna shared photos and a video on the Autism Speaks Facebook page and it was quickly viewed by thousands of people.
Mom said that there wasn’t a dry eye in the stands. Wright was overcome with joy, but then had to compose himself moments later to play saxophone in the marching band.
