The iconic HBO series “The Sopranos” celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

The show, starring James Gandolfini, depicts North Jersey mobster Tony Soprano and his family living in and around Essex County and New York City. The show first premiered in 1999.

News 12 New Jersey stopped by some of the show's most famous filming locations in the Garden State in honor of the 25 years.
