FORECAST:
It's a super summer week this week with highs in the mid-80s under a warm hazy sunshine. It's not overly hot, but it also isn't overly cool, either.
Humidity remains low along with the low chances for rain. There will be a few thin clouds with a smoky haze in our sky. It won't be problematic, and this also keeps rain chances minimal.
This fair weather continues for the remainder of the week, and it gets slightly warmer for the weekend as temps jump closer to 90.
An offshore tropical storm will send swells to the shores of New Jersey, increasing the threat for life-threatening rip currents to develop during tidal changes. Although this risk is moderate, it is important to always swim in the vicinity of lifeguards for safety.
Sunset is steadily approaching 8 p.m. and will reach 7:30 p.m. by the end of the month as we begin to lose 2 minutes of daylight each day between now and then.
