One person is dead and another seriously injured in a stabbing incident at a Harrison apartment complex, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.

The incident happened at the Harrison Garden Apartments around 1 a.m. Tuesday.

The prosecutor’s office says that 67-year-old Rosa Massoni was killed and a 50-year-old person was seriously injured.

“Nothing like this has really happened before around here,” says neighbor Larry Kelly. “Scary.”

Neighbors say the incident started in a third-floor apartment in Building 8.

Kelly says that maintenance workers described the scene.

“They said it was a mess. Blood everywhere,” he says.

Authorities have arrested Massoni’s son, 32-year-old Victor Temoche. He was charged with murder and attempted murder.

Officials say that Temoche ran from the scene after the incident, but was caught a short time later.
