A Harrington Park man accused of performing a lewd act in front of a child was arrested on Sept. 10.
Police say the victim reported that she witnessed 39-year-old Patrick Kavanah performing the act inside his car at a mall parking lot in late August.
He has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child and public lewdness.
