A Halloween zombie display in Hawthorne is back up after the homeowner was originally told to take it down.
The homeowner has been putting up the display for around 15 years, but recently, he was told police came by and said they were getting traffic complaints – and that people pulling up to see the display could be ticketed.
So, the family began to take it down. But Monday night, they were told they could put it back up.
Police cleared up the confusion, saying they never asked the family to remove anything, and they actually enjoy the display and his community contribution.
