The annual Make Music Day event was held Monday on the first day of summer in Montclair.
A group gathered at a park to create music in an unconventional way, by using flowerpots.
Make Music Day started nearly 40 years ago in France. The event has since grown internationally. Numerous events were held across the tri-state areas.
“After COVID, it's kind of like a coming out for everybody to celebrate community again, so we're very excited,” says Make Music Day’s Greg Pason.
About 1,000 communities around the world held musical events to bring people together to celebrate Make Music Day.
