A grandmother looking to deliver her grandchildren presents crashed her vehicle into a home in Elizabeth.
The fire department says that when they arrived, nearby neighbors were tending to the grandmother, whose Honda CR-V ended up in the neighbor’s kitchen.
“She was just crying,” said neighbor Gladys Perez, who assisted in the incident when she heard it nearby. “She doesn’t understand what happened.”
Officials say the scene was cleared at around 8:50 a.m.
No injures came as a result of this accident, and even more good news - that grandmother’s presents for her grandkids came away unharmed too.
