Gov. Phil Murphy says he will have more information next week about plans for the fall when it comes to pre-K to 12 grade schools.

Meanwhile, the governor has taken a big step toward letting
colleges and universities around New Jersey return to campus, saying administrators have to submit a plan at least two weeks before the date they want to return to campus.
Each must include students and staff wearing face coverings indoors, a plan to clean and disinfect areas, and a plan to accommodate students who test positive for coronavirus -- including quarantine and isolation procedures.
"Colleges this fall and summer will not look the same as they did last year,” says Zakiya Smith Ellis, secretary of the Office of Higher Education. "As we seek to ensure appropriate measures are in place so educational activity can continue, the health and safety of students, faculty and staff will remain our priority."
The plan will be reviewed by the state Department of Health.
