Gov. Phil Murphy says he is allotting more money for universal Pre-K.
The governor announced that $120 million is going toward expanding access to preschools in the state.
Nearly $3 million will help 33 school districts improve their pre-K programs.
“Expanding access to free, full-day preschool programs represents an investment in the future of New Jersey’s children,” Murphy said in a statement.
The funding was made possible through the federal American Rescue Plan Act.
