Gov. Cuomo adds 12 new cluster zones across Hudson Valley

Schools will need to test 20% of in-person students, faculty and staff over the next two weeks inside the yellow zones.

Gov. Cuomo adds 12 new cluster zones across Hudson Valley
Gov. Andrew Cuomo added a dozen new cluster zones across the Hudson Valley, including in New Rochelle – the region’s first hot zone for COVID-19.
In Westchester - portions of New Rochelle, Ossining, Tarrytown and Peekskill are all now considered yellow zones. That means schools will need to test 20% of in-person students, faculty and staff over the next two weeks.
Indoor dining is limited to four people per table and houses of worship are limited to 50% capacity.
In Orange County, a yellow zone is being added in portions of Newburgh, New Windsor, Middletown and Highland Falls.
In Rockland County, the yellow zone has been expanded to include portions of Haverstraw, Stony Point, Pearl River and New City.
The mid-Hudson region is now tied for the second worst infection rate in the entire state currently at 3.8%
