Gov. Chris Christie is proposing a tax reform package.
The governor announced his plan Tuesday at a town hall event at the University of New Hampshire.
Gov. Christie says that his plan includes reducing the corporate tax rate by 10 percent and simplifying the tax code for everyone.
"The fundamental question vexing all of us is, 'Why has the income of middle-class Americans not grown in 15 years?'" Gov. Christie asked. "It is critical to understand that until we answer that question and fix that problem, the anxiety and unhappiness that weigh on middle-class America will not be resulted."
The governor says he hopes the plan will encourage companies to invest in America, spur growth and create incentives to work.
