Gov. Chris Christie found himself defending the keynote address he made Tuesday night to the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.
Many have said that his speech focused more on his own achievements and not so much on candidate Mitt Romney.
Several news organizations have pointed out it took the governor 17 minutes before he even used Romney's name during the keynote.
"At the end of the day, what I was doing was building the case for Mitt Romney," said Gov. Christie. "Do you think there's anybody here that doesn't know his name?"
