Gov. Chris Christie held his 134th town hall event at Old Bridge High School in Matawan Tuesday.
The governor used the opportunity to once again defend the state's settlement with Exxon-Mobil.
"When you say that Exxon-Mobil donated $500 million to the Republican Governors Association, when they didn't donate anywhere near that, the Republican Governors Association didn't raise a fifth of that. You're just making stuff up," he says.
About 100 protesters lined up outside the school ahead of the town hall. Last week's town hall event in Kenilworth was marred by multiple protesters, as well as a teacher who got into an argument with Gov. Christie during the Q&A portion of the event.
Gov. Christie will soon head to New Hampshire for two town hall events there.
