A pharmacy in Glen Rock was robbed last week after police say the thieves got away with narcotics.

Police say it happened around 3 a.m. at the Rock Ridge Pharmacy in the Rock Road Central Business District. They say oxycodone and promethazine were taken from the pharmacist's work area.

Both suspects, who wore hooded sweatshirts, fled the scene, according to police.

Authorities say pharmacies throughout the region have been the subject of increasing burglaries and armed robberies by suspects looking for opioids.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Glen Rock police at 201-652-3800.
