A Bergen County community is in mourning Thursday after the body of a Glen Rock High School student was found on school grounds.
Zack Toskovich?s parents had reported him missing Wednesday night. Police say a teacher found the teen?s body on school property early Thursday. As a result, school officials canceled all classes and crisis counselors were on hand to help students and staff cope with the loss. Authorities say there are no signs of foul play and they believe the teen committed suicide.
Students say Toskovich was valedictorian of this year?s senior class. Many say it is hard to believe something so tragic would happen to someone with such a bright future.
Classes will resume Friday and crisis counselors will again be on hand for anyone who needs them. All extracurricular activities at the school have been canceled through the upcoming weekend.
