The long-stalled Gateway Tunnel Project now has additional funding from the federal government.

The Biden Administration will be giving $3.8 billion to the project.

The proposed tunnel will link the Bergen Palisades to Manhattan. It's the largest infrastructure project in the country with construction is expected to take more than a decade.

The actual digging of the tunnel won't begin until 2025.
