A group of fed-up pilots were picketing at Newark Liberty International Airport on Wednesday over frustrations with contract negotiations.
The latest contract proposal for United Airlines pilots entails a 14.5% cumulative pay increase, overtime and training pay.
Captain Garry Kravit argues the proposal doesn't do nearly enough and hoped to meet with management today to negotiate for something better.
They say they're hope that by picketing they can encourage management to treat employees better and invest in their pilots.
