A former New Jersey teacher is again facing child porn charges, more than 10 years after he was convicted of having thousands of pornographic images of children on his computer.

42-year-old Arthur Vespignani is accused of having a thumb drive containing multiple photos and videos of children engaged in sexual acts.

Vespignani had his first appearance in court Thursday. He was released from the Warren County jail after posting $50,000 bail.

A voicemail message seeking comment wasn't immediately returned Friday.

In 2002, Vespignani was a music teacher at Stanhope Elementary School in Sussex County when he chatted online who he thought was a 14-year-old girl, but was actually an undercover agent.

He pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault and distribution of child pornography and was given a three-year prison sentence in 2003.
