A former Mount Laurel police officer has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for hacking into women’s social media accounts and leaking nude photographs.

Police say 25-year-old Ayron Taylor was employed as a patrol officer when he targeted victims by illegally accessing around 5,000 email accounts connected to Rowan College at Burlington County.

An investigation was launched in 2022 after one victim reported that her photos were posted online.
