Former fire chief sentenced for sharing child porn
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- A judge has sentenced the former chief of the Audubon Park Volunteer Fire Company to six years in prison for using the firehouse's computer to share child pornography.
Under Friday's sentencing, 46-year-old John Terruso of Marlton will be eligible for parole after serving three years in prison. He must register as a sex offender under Megan's law and can't hold a public office or job.
Terruso pleaded guilty in May to distribution and possession of child pornography.
The case began when a Homeland Security investigator traced child pornography videos to the computer at the firehouse.
