There were cloudy skies and passing rain showers across New Jersey this Thursday.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the rain could be heavy at times, but severe storms are not expected.
The rain is mostly in the southern and western portions of the state. Temperatures Thursday reached the low-80s and should cool into the low-60s overnight.
The skies are expected to be mostly clear for Friday. Temperatures should reach the low-80s.
The weekend is shaping up to see lots of sunshine with temperatures in the mid- to upper-80s.
