Temperatures continued to stay warm Monday with highs reaching toward the mid-90s.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the humidity was high Monday, but it felt slightly more comfortable than the weekend.
The National Weather Service issued an excessive heat warning for parts of New Jersey until around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Monday's overnight hours should see temperatures dip into the mid-70s. Rain showers are possible around 2 a.m. or 3 a.m.
Tuesday is expected to be mostly sunny, but thunderstorms are possible. Temperatures should reach the low-90s.
Wednesday could see rain in the morning, but the rest of the day is expected to see sunshine. Highs should reach the low-90s.
