A "Road Trip Close to Home" to The Ranch Hudson Valley in Sloatsburg means three to four nights of focusing on your health and wellness journey.
The structured programs are results-oriented for people who are looking to obtain results mentally, physically or nutritionally.
Guests stay inside of a 40,000 square-foot mansion that was built in the turn of the 19th century.
About two dozen people take part in a program at a time and many end up bonding and leaving as friends.
"Its all different people, all different walks of life and that's been fun," first-time guest Casey Minlionica, said.
In fact, building on that human connection is a strong pillar of the programs.
"The intention is that everybody arrives together and goes through a daily routine together from morning to night," CEO and co-founder Alex Glasscock said, "what we hope our guests get from the Ranch experience is to become kinder more empathic human beings and improve their health and wellness."
Daily hikes are a big part of that.
They cater to different levels so that everybody will get the most out of the experience.
Some of the greatest feelings after a hike are spending time at the spa, soaking in the pool or hot and cold tubs as well as relaxing the muscles in an infrared sauna.
"It has allowed my mind to just be at peace, I left my work phone at home so I really got to disconnect which is great -- it's a true reset," Minlionica said.
