Firefighters responded to the scene of a fire in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater.
The fire broke out Wednesday night at an asphalt plant on Thompson Avenue.
Several people called into the News 12 New Jersey newsroom to report hearing loud explosions.
According to the Central Jersey Fire Twitter account, the fire was in the machine house of the plant.
There is no information on if there are any injuries at this time.
