Firefighters in a Sussex County neighborhood had their hands full battling a massive fire that broke out just steps from a home.

Flames were seen shooting out and smoke billowing from a garage in Stillwater Township.

The homeowner reported that a neighbor alerted them by banging on their door, helping to get them out before fire trucks arrived. Crews worked quickly to stop the flames from spreading.
