A firefighter was injured Wednesday morning after falling through the roof while crews battled a structure fire at a two-story apartment complex on Judson Street, according to officials.
Units were dispatched to the scene at about 10:20 a.m. When crews arrived, they found a working fire in the residential building. A second alarm was later called, officials said.
During operations, one firefighter fell through the roof and was quickly removed by personnel at the scene. He was the taken to a hospital.
The firefighter was treated and said to be in good condition, according to the Edison Firefighters IAFF Local 1197.
