A fire broke out at a two-family home in Linden Tuesday night.
The fire was reported at 9:30 p.m. Police say they arrived to find the two-family home on E. Blancke Street fully engulfed with flames on the second floor.
Initial reports indicated that residents could have been trapped inside, and firefighters quickly began rescue efforts. It was confirmed that all residents evacuated safely.
During the search, two Linden firefighters fell through the floor and were treated on scene for minor injuries.
Neighboring houses were evacuated as a precaution.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
