One person was hospitalized after a car crashed into an apartment building in Westport on Thursday, fire officials say.
It happened at the Canal Park Apartments on Canal Street.
Officials say the vehicle left the road and struck a car before it crashed into the building. They say the driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No one was in the apartment at the time.
Firefighters were able to stabilize the building so that the structure was deemed safe.
