Firefighters extinguished a fire in Franklin Township on Saturday but not before it destroyed a home.
One witness says the family who lived there escaped shortly before the house was engulfed in flames.
The fire may have begun in the basement, according to reports.
Numerous fire companies from the area responded to the blaze.
