Two apartments and a pizzeria are damaged following a multi-alarm fire in Carlstadt.
The fire started Monday afternoon at Bella Pizza on Hackensack Street. Fire officials say the fire started in the kitchen and quickly spread to two apartment units above the pizzeria.
Parts of the building collapsed from the flames. No one was injured, but a firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.
The fire was brought under control at around 1:30 p.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
