An early morning fire badly damaged two homes in Ocean County.
The fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday inside one of the homes on Laurel Boulevard in Lacey Township. The fire then spread to the home next door.
Both homes suffered extensive damage.
Residents were forced to evacuate the homes, but no one was injured.
