afternoon at a landmark ice cream shop in Bayonne.
Smoke and flames could be
seen Monday around 2 p.m. coming from Magic Fountain located at 907 Broadway.
Firefighters were able to
get the blaze under control in under 15 minutes. According to fire officials, damage to the building
was limited.
No injuries were reported. The
fire is not considered suspicious.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this point.
Magic Fountain is a landmark in the community that serves cones and Italian ices at a walk-up window and drive-thru.
