New Jersey residents who like movies, but may not be in the mood for an epic, may be interested in a film festival in Monmouth County.
The FilmOne Festival could be a dream come true for those with very short attention spans.
"You have to sit down and put your seat belt on because it's very fast-moving. But it's the way the world communicates now,” says festival director Corinna Thuss.
The festival is an evening of super shorts at the marina area of Atlantic Highlands.
More than 50 projects submitted by filmmakers from around the world will be shown this Saturday night. FilmOne Fest is produced by the nonprofit Atlantic Highlands Arts Council. The audience will see a wide range of genres.
FilmOne Fest is free. Spectators should bring a chair or blanket to the event. There will also be a concert before the shorts are shown.
