New Jersey victims of Superstorm Sandy who may have been short changed on their claims should soon be getting letters from FEMA.
Residents who did not get the maximum reimbursement under their insurance policies should be contacted by FEMA next week to see if they are owed money.
Anyone who received one of these letters will have 90 days to file another claim. FEMA will then reach out to the person's insurance company that carried the flood insurance. The claim will be reviewed for a possible adjustment.
If victims still aren't satisfied with the result, the case can go into appeal.
