Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) is getting some encouragement from the latest poll measuring his approval.
Fifty-three percent of registered voters in New Jersey approve of the job the governor is doing. Thirty-seven percent said they disapprove. The Farleigh Dickinson Public Mind Poll surveyed 800 voters in New Jersey between Jan. 2-8. The results are in advance of the governor's State of the State address tomorrow.
The rating is almost the same as a year ago, and is his second highest rating in the poll to-date.
