The FBI says it's willing to pay up to $5,000 to find a man wanted in connection to a bank robbery that happened back in January.

The bank robbery allegedly happened in Paterson on Jan. 24 at a PNC Bank on Market Street.

According to authorities, the suspect went into the bank around 9:30 a.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money. They say the man took off on foot with the cash and was last seen around North 1st Street after the robbery. It’s unclear how much money was taken.

No one in the bank was injured.

Witnesses say the suspect was wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap and has medium length dreadlocks or braids, according to authorities.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery is asked to the call the Newark FBI at 973-792-3000 or the Paterson Police Department at 973-321-1120. Tips can also be submitted here.
