Fatal bus crash sends victims to 3 area hospitals

Officials say two people died and more than a dozen people were treated at three area hospitals after two NJ Transit buses collided in Newark on Friday morning. One person was in critical condition

Officials say two people died and more than a dozen people were treated at three area hospitals after two NJ Transit buses collided in Newark on Friday morning.
One person was in critical condition and five more were in serious condition on Friday night.
A total of 14 people were taken to University Hospital in Newark following the crash.
Three other victims were taken to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. At least two of them were sent home on Friday.
Another two victims were taken to Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth. They had minor injuries and were expected to be released before the end of the day on Friday.
