Fans are returning to live performances this summer for the first time in more than a year.
They were welcomed back at the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel Thursday night for the first time in 675 days as the band Chicago kicked off the first show back.
It's a return to normalcy that many have been craving as the entire lineup at the venue was canceled last year because of the pandemic.
In fact, the venue was used as a COVID-19 testing site for some time.
Now the music is back and 23 shows are on the lineup for this summer.
PNC Bank Arts Center is not the only venue welcoming shows and crowds back.
MetLife Stadium also getting ready for their first large capacity event this weekend with Monster Jam as 250 truckloads of dirt filled the stadium.
The show set for Saturday night.
