Fans of New York Yankees legend Yogi Berra are petitioning President Barack Obama to award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The petition has garnered more than 100,000 signatures.
Dave Kaplan, director of the Yogi Berra Museum at Montclair State University, says they were getting support from all over the country.
"When we did tell Yogi there are 100,000 people who voted for him to receive this award, he was really touched," Kaplan says.
It's now up to the president to make the final decision.
