On the eve of her funeral, hundreds of Whitney Houston's fans lined up before dawn in Newark today for a chance to pay their respects.
Nearly 1,500 seats at Saturday's invitation-only funeral will be filled with family, friends and many celebrities.
Kevin Costner, who co-stared with the late pop icon in "The Bodyguard," will speak at the service. Houston's first record producer Clive Davis will also deliver a eulogy. Among the singers expected to perform are Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston's godmother, Aretha Franklin.
In the political arena, Newark Mayor Cory Booker and Gov. Chris Christie will attend.
