A Middlesex County restaurant is serving up the ultimate comfort food.

Feed Ya Soul in Avenel specializes in popular food items like mac and cheese and wings. But the owners also offer unique dishes like brown stew chicken and Rasta pasta.

“[The food] it’s cooked from love, you come in here to get a good meal, great conversation,” says owner Barry Washington. “We’re going to make sure you smile.”

The owners say that the restaurant is a community and that they never forget a customer’s name or face.

The restaurant is currently only open for takeout.
