A mother and daughter were a split second from being crushed by massive debris from the plane that crashed in Morris County yesterday. Today they shared their story with News 12 New Jersey.
Michelle and Heather Faasse were in a car driving down I-287 when the plane crashed. The Faasses are thankful tonight that their lives were spared.
Michelle Faasse says that the she couldn't see out any of the windows. She says she couldn't even see the hood of the car because of the flames at the site of the crash.
Heather and Michelle say they received calls yesterday from friends who were watching News 12 New Jersey who saw their pickup truck at the scene.
They say the event has deeply affected them, and they wanted people to know how sorry they feel.
