A man, along with his girlfriend, are suing the state of Hawaii, saying a false missile alert earlier this year caused him to have a heart attack.
Back in January, state residents received alerts on their cellphones that a missile was headed toward the state.
Residents began calling their loved ones minutes later, saying their goodbyes.
The man suing went to the hospital and had surgery.
A worker, who later resigned, sent out the alert after mistakenly thinking a drill was the real thing.
