Fair Lawn police have arrested a serial burglar thanks to a homeowner's video surveillance system.

Junior Perales, 31, was taken into custody after the homeowner says he received an alert on his phone and saw him in his backyard removing items from his shed.

Perales was riding a bicycle that was also reported stolen from another house earlier this month.

Perales has been charged with burglary, theft and trespassing.
