Weather conditions in New Jersey have caused some flight delays and cancellations at Newark Liberty International Airport.
At least 47 flights were canceled and 273 flights were delayed Wednesday. The Federal Aviation Administration says that weather played a factor due to a “low ceiling.”
United Airlines also reported some technology issues that impacted operations for a time Wednesday afternoon. Those issues have since been resolved.
The airline stated it would work to get customers to their destination without further delays.
Travelers are reminded to check with their carriers about the status of their flights and to arrive at the airport early to ensure they are on time for their flights.
