? Two air traffic controllers at Teterboro Airport may be fired because of their actions during a midair collision Saturday over the Hudson River.
The FAA says the two air traffic controllers? conduct at the time of the crash was inappropriate and unacceptable. Both have been placed on administrative leave.
The air traffic controller who cleared the plane to take off has been suspended for allegedly being involved in inappropriate phone conversations at the time of the crash.
Also suspended was the supervisor who is required to be on site and was not in the building.
Agency officials say both employees' actions do not appear to have contributed to the accident itself.
