FAA approves construction of new terminal at JFK Int'l Airport

The Federal Aviation Administration signed off on the final environmental approval for construction of a new terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration signed off on the final environmental approval for construction of a new terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
At more than a million square feet, the $4.2 terminal is expected to have 10 gates and be used by JetBlue and Lufthansa.
Construction is set to begin early next year. The first new gates are expected to open in 2026.
